Welcome fellow right brainers!

I’m Dr. Megan. I practice therapy in my beautiful office in Maryville, Tennessee, located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

I’m a licensed psychologist, certified DBT therapist and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) practitioner.

I am all heart when it comes to connecting with people.

For the past 10 years, I’ve helped many overcome trauma by teaching coping skills to create a life worth living.

I provide individual therapy, group therapy, and online sessions with me. I am so excited that you are exploring ways to increase emotional wellness. Many people feel better simply after booking the first appointment because they are making a commitment to change.

See below for the skinny on what most people want to know before beginning therapy.

Teletherapy, or online therapy, is an increasingly popular method of accessing therapy in a busy modern world. I am able to offer cash-based, online Healing & Transformation Sessions. These sessions will be hosted on a secure and confidential platform to respect your privacy.

Because of the licensing restrictions, I can’t practice therapy in the conventional sense; rather, these private-pay sessions allow me to bring you my special blend of healing techniques, coping skills and coaching to help you meet your wellness goals. Currently, licensure guidelines haven’t kept up with this growing practice trend. As such, I am only able to practice therapy and bill insurance in the state of Tennessee.

I love listening to podcasts, taking workshops, being part of an online community and following my favorite YouTubers. My intention is to create a community where people can support each other and grow from positive media. Not ready to take the plunge with therapy? Get a taste of inspirational content 24 hours a day — for those sleepless nights, crisis moments or the days when you want to pull the covers up and hide.

This is NOT a therapy group in the sense that it is a community of real people who want to feel better. Subscription access provides specialized content just for you, including guided meditations, inspirational memes, custom videos, inspirational podcasts, a closed Facebook group — and an all-access pass to special events and workshops. This is the latest healing media to get your head right – and it starts now with your all-access subscription.

Do you find yourself in an emotionally abusive relationship with yourself? We can remedy that with a combination of empathic talk therapy, trauma reprocessing, mindfulness, art-and-energy psychology and coping skills. These work together to reduce symptoms and help you find joy and passion.

I am super-supportive, providing feedback, resources and coping strategies. I want to teach you how to be your own therapist. Let’s discover your true purpose in this world. (Hint: You are here to make a difference.)

Want a facelift for your life? Confidence and feeling good changes more than just your appearance. I help people move from survivor to thriver all with a good dose of humor, fun, creativity and insight. Move from a stuck and scared place into a sacred and empowered life.
